[Access to Mukojima from the mainland]
There are three ferry terminals that cross from the mainland Onomichi side to Mukojima.
On the westernmost side of the island, along the coast beyond the bus rotary at the south exit of JR Onomichi Station, there is a ferry terminal called ``Ekimae Ferry'' bound for Mukojima.
We are transporting pistons between Onomichi Station and Mukojima on the mainland. Flights run approximately every 10 minutes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
It takes about 5 minutes. Fares are 100 yen for adults, 50 yen for children, and 10 yen for bicycles.
Please pay the fare on the ship.

There is a parking lot at our guesthouse.
If you have a navigation system, please enter ``13534 Mukojima-cho, Onomichi City'' before coming.
The goal is Mukojima Sports Park.
If you are using the Shimanami Kaido (toll expressway), get off at Mukojima Interchange and it is about 1 km from there to my house.
If you are coming from Onomichi city, it is a good idea to use the local Onomichi Ohashi Bridge (free of charge) to cross to the Mukojima side.
Of the ferries that cross from the Onomichi side of the mainland to Mukojima, two ferries, Fukumoto Ferry and Kaneyoshi Ferry, operate that also allow cars to board.
Bicycle / Walking
Our guesthouse has a parking lot.
It is about 4 kilometers from the pier on the Mukojima side to my house, and it takes about 20 minutes by bicycle or about 1 hour on foot.
Please aim for Mukojima Sports Park.
There are many supermarkets, convenience stores, and drug stores along the way, so you won't have any trouble shopping.
Go straight for about 300 meters with your back to the pier. Turn right at the Tomihamabashi intersection. Continue for about 2 km. Turn left at the Michigoe intersection and walk straight for about 1 km to arrive.
*If you use a map app to search for a route under the conditions of "walking" or "biking", a difficult-to-follow "Kemono-michi" route may be displayed.
When searching for navigation, be sure to use the term "car".
*Please come safely by following the above route using National Route 317 (Prefectural Route 377 from the Tomihama intersection).

When you request a pick-up over the phone, you will be asked, ``Where do you want to pick me up?'' Please tell them your name and ``Please come to Koura Watashi.''
When you get in the taxi, say, ``Please take me to Kuniyasu, which is just before Funahashi Iron Works in Tsubeta.''
It is okay to give the address "13534 Mukojima-cho".

Transfer
If time permits, I will go to the pier on the Mukojima side of the ferry in front of the station.
(Commonly known as Koura Watashi), we can also pick you up by car.
Up to 3 people.
As a general rule, pick-up and drop-off is from 17:00 to 21:00.
In addition to the Mukojima side pier, you can pick up at Mukojima rental cycle terminal, Mukojima express bus stop, etc.
If you would like to use the pick-up service, please let us know your estimated arrival time and pick-up location by email at least one week before your scheduled stay.
On the day of arrival, just before boarding the ferry from the Onomichi side, we will contact you via email again.

If you do not have a child seat ready in time, unfortunately we will not be able to put it in the car.
